St. Dominic Suns Win Shelby League Championship

The St. Dominic Suns 8thgrade basketball team won the Shelby League Large Division Basketball championship for 2019. The Suns defeated Briarcrest 44-34 to take the title. Grayson Sellers and Henry Pietrangelo were named to the All-Tournament team, and Jack McLaughlin was named tournament Most Valuable Player.
The Suns won the regular season title compiling a season record of 11-1. St. Dominic is coached by Jay Mathis and Chip Hamlet.
